Snapshots taken with my old phone. The beauty of this place is beyond words. Speaking of ‘words’, I’m sitting with a small group of committed people who are working hard to complete a dictionary for their language. Ju/’hoansi is a click language, spoken by about 30 000 people in Namibia and Botswana. Today they were trying to come up with technical terms, such as “computer hard drive” – which they translated as “kompiter n/aqni” – “computer’s brain”. Such an inspiring experience.
