With kids in Swakopmund

We took a much awaited break and made our way to the coast of Namibia. It was truly spectacular driving from the Kalahari to Namib, and had lovely time in Swakopmund.

In case you end up in this part of the world with several kids on your hands, here’s what you can do:

Take them dune-sliding. The guys who offer the attraction are really cool. They’ll carry and play with your kids all the time.

In the meantime, you can do some sandboarding, too.

Go eat at Jetty. It’s lovely there. If the kids are misbehaving, just drink more wine. It soon won’t matter.

Take them on a desert tour.

They’ll learn that the desert is not as lifeless as it seems.

The ride on the dunes will make them giggle for hours.

Forget about the kids for a day and do something fun by yourself. I’ll keep the memory of my man’s happy face for ages to come!IMG_0053
