This winter

Summer has gone to the northern hemisphere, and winter is settling in southern Africa. The winter Namibian days are usually warmer than the northern Norwegian summer days. Nights in the desert, however, are an entirely different story, and temperatures can easily drop below zero. Yet, I must have spent too much time in the high north because I have come to love cool weather much more than melting hot summers. I feel full of energy, and inspired for whatever not.

This winter will be about:

sitting by the fire,

playing in the dirt,

growing and watching grow,

cuddling in the icy mornings,

and wrapping in the chilly afternoons,

working hard on the mat,

writing (and receiving) more love letters,

more listening, less speaking.
