Happy Birthday, Noah!

Our precious little boy turned three today. It’s seems as if it was yesterday when the cutest little creature took its first breath in my arms, and gave me the stern and loving look I’ll never forget!

For the first time he knew that his birthday was coming, and was asking about it many times a day during the last month (mostly wondering “Where is my birthday?”, “Where is my cake?”). We decided to take him to N/a’an ku se for his special day. This is a wildlife sanctuary close to Windhoek, which keeps orphaned or injured wild animals, which cannot be released back into the wild. We had an amazing time there. The lodge and the food were really good. We also did a carnivore feeding tour. Noah took the opportunity to show his fighting skills to the wild dogs (his fighting fist, as he called it). In the afternoon, we came to Windhoek, and took him to see his first ever big screen movie – Monsters University. He fell asleep in the car, and is now sleeping in our bed. So blessed to have him!
